The 3D Lizzie Borden House

I have always been interested in the story of the Borden murders, which took place in 1892, in Fall River Massachusettes. In 2002, while spending a day and night in the actual house, which is now a bed & breakfast, I took many photos of the home to use as reference for a 3D recreation of the house and murder scenes. I also compiled many old photos which I found online, to try to accurately recreate the home, murder scenes, and property as it was in 1892. I built the 3D model using Lightwave, and even created a few short animations of the home, which I hope to make available here some time soon. I also hope to be adding more renderings and illustrations in the near future.

On the left is the house as it appeared soon after the murders. On the right is the house as it looks today.

Here is a recreation of Andrew Borden's murder scene, based on photographs taken in 1892 (One of the first crime scenes to be recorded on film). Warning: this image is rather graphic.
